The topper is hand tufted between 2 layers of fabric of 100% certified organic cotton, grown and milled in India. The crib topper has sturdy straps to secure the topper to the mattress. The topper, approximately 1 inch thick, is machine washable, and is recommended for infants over 3 years of age.
